Brian Schottenheimer attends first NFL Scouting Combine as Cowboys head coach and realizes that free time is a rarity

It’s been five weeks since the Dallas Cowboys promoted their 51-year-old offensive coordinator to his first NFL head coaching gig. And while it’s been two months since the season ended for “America’s Team” – and more like four months since it effectively did – Schottenheimer feels like he and his staff have remained in regular-season mode.

The new Dallas coach wanted his whole staff in Indy because "things get lost" when everyone isn't in the same place, he said.
