A homeless man was found dead Wednesday near the Cumberland riverbank in what Nashville police believe is the first homicide of 2025. Two men, also experiencing homelessness, reported the man's body to a Nashville Downtown Partnership ambassador, Metro Nashville Police said in a statement Thursday morning.
