Although the release date for the Red Cipher controller is not yet known, the insider believes an announcement is coming this month, and that it will be available exclusively on Microsoft’s official store at a likely price of $69.99 / £64.99 / €69.99.

Microsoft has announced a new special edition Xbox controller. Following a recent leak that confirmed the upcoming controller’s name, the company officially revealed the Pulse Cipher controller on Tuesday.

Xbox introduces the stylish Pulse Cipher Special Edition Controller in bright, clear red for $75. The Cipher controller lineup includes Sky Cipher in blue ($58) and Ghost Cipher in clear ($57). Features include red rubber grips and compatibility across multiple gaming platforms like Android and PC.

The Pulse Cipher Special Edition features a transparent red design and metallic red accents. The new Xbox controller releases in early February.
