Rihanna showed up at his Los Angeles trial — where he’s charged with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm — for the first time on Wednesday, sitting between his sister and mother as his former friend testified about the moment he alleges Rocky fired at him.

The outlet claims Rocky’s plea deal consisted of three years of probation, a seven-year suspended prison sentence, and 180 days served in county jail, if plead guilty to one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. Instead, Rocky wants to present his defense.

ASAP Twelvyy declined to be interviewed by the prosecution on the second day of testimony in ASAP Rocky’s assault trial at the Los Angeles County Courthouse on Tuesday. His refusal led to a tense exchange with Superior Court Judge Mark Arnold, who warned that his decision could impact his credibility as a witness.

Prosecutors began laying out their case Friday against hip-hop star ASAP Rocky, aka Rakim Mayers, in a 2021 shooting incident in Hollywood. If convicted, Mayers faces nearly 20 years in prison.
