That news will be relevant to Kansas City Chiefs fans soon. The Star has confirmed the Chiefs will be facing the Chargers in that opening-week contest on Friday, Sept. 5; Front Office Sports first reported last week that KC would be the other team in that matchup.
But as far as going further? Fox Sports' Bucky Brooks doubts it. In his latest power rankings, he has the Chiefs at No. 4, with the Washington Commanders (3), Buffalo Bills (2), and Philadelphia Eagles (1) ahead of them.
