Apple on Monday reaffirmed a commitment to spend hundreds of billions on U.S. soil in the coming years amid pressure from President Donald Trump.

The company said Monday that it plans to spend $500 billion domestically over the next four years.

The announcement comes as the tech giant is slated to spend more than $500 billion in the United States over the next four years and bolster "Apple Intelligence," an in-house artificial intelligence system.
