For the first time in 12 years, Neymar is celebrating his birthday at Santos as he officially made his return to the boyhood club after leaving Al Hilal on mutual agreement with the Saudi Pro League club.

Santos president Marcelo Teixeira wants Neymar Jr. to stay at the Brazilian club until the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be played in North America.

Following the contract termination, Neymar is set to return to Brazilian club Santos, where he first broke out in the soccer world, soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported Monday. An official announcement by Santos has not yet been made.
