The Dallas Cowboys are looking for a new head coach after they parted ways with Mike McCarthy on Monday. McCarthy was expected to be a free agent on Tuesday and the Cowboys opened not to bring him back after five seasons.

A day after the team announced it would move on from Mike McCarthy, Philadelphia offensive coordinator Kellen Moore gave his thoughts on Dallas' head coaching gig.

Moore, 36, has strong ties to the Cowboys' organization. He played in Dallas as a backup quarterback from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, he joined the coaching staff as the quarterbacks coach. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2019 and held that position until the end of the 2022 season.
