The Chicago Bears have officially released their 2025 schedule, which features some hotly-anticipated match-ups during Ben Johnson's first season as head coach. In addition to facing their NFC North foes twice,

The Bears have had joint training camp practices in the past and they've been relatively peaceful but Ben Johnson comes from a team with a different reputation.

The Bears also will face the Washington Commanders on “Monday Night Football” in Week 6 and the San Francisco 49ers on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 17 — both on the road — in addition to a Black Friday road game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 28 and a Saturday showcase game against the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 20 at Soldier Field.

Welcome back to Chicago, Matt Eberflus. The Bears welcome their old head coach back to Soldier Field here, in what might be a low-scoring affair that pits Johnson against fellow first-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer. This game will be proof if Johnson's offense can find ways to circumvent a defense with plenty of playmakers.

All in all, the Bears will play five prime-time or standalone games. Week 1: Monday, Sept. 8, vs. Minnesota Vikings, 8:15 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 21, vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m. ET, FOX Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 28 at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS

Huge home games at Soldier Field you won’t want to miss include contests against NFC North rivals Minnesota Vikings (Sept. 8), Green Bay Packers (in a to be determined week 16 matchup) and Detroit Lions (also TBD for week 18) as well as matchups with the Dallas Cowboys (Sept. 21) and Pittsburgh Steelers (Nov. 23).
