Will Smith opened the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro in Miami on Thursday. The awards show annually recognizes the most popular Spanish-language music. Smith arrived walking the red carpet in a set from Pas Une Marque.

Following her Grammys win, Shakira will take the Premio Lo Nuestro stage as well. Alejandra Guzmán, Belinda, Edgar Barrera, El Alfa, Manuel Turizo, Reik, Tito Double P, and Xavi, are also confirmed to perform. The Spanish-language network recently announced that it would pay tribute to Paquita la del Barrio following her death.

The Philly rapper was joined by India Martínez for "First Love" and then DJ Khaled, Thalia and Miami Sound Machine for his 1997 hit.

Will Smith will be opening up the 37th edition of TelevisaUnivision's Premio Lo Nuestro alongside Spanish singer-songwriter India Martínez.

Premio Lo Nuestro awards ceremony is set to take place Thursday (Feb. 20), with Carin León and Becky G leading the list of nominees with 10 nods each. Both artists are also among the long list of performers who will take the stage at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

The stage at Premio Lo Nuestro's 37th edition on February 20, 2025 at Kaseya Center hosted Will Smith teaming up with Spanish vocalist India Martínez to kick off the ceremony. During the evening they played their new joint work "First Love" to provide an enthusiastic start for the program.
