At least 10 people in the U.S. were hospitalized with listeria infections linked to ready-to-eat foods, federal officials said.

Various ready-to-eat foods, including sandwiches and pastas, sold and distributed in Washington have been recalled in a listeria outbreak linked to Fresh & Ready Foods of San Fernando, California.

The FDA found that items made by Fresh & Ready Foods had been served in at least three of the health care facilities where the patients had been previously treated.
