God of War Ragnarok fans on PlayStation rejoice: the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game are finally getting an update that adds an option to reduce the frequency that your companions will give you hints while completing puzzles.

The latest patch for the PS5 version of God of War Ragnarok adds the option first seen in the PC port to tone down the boy’s excessive and unsolicited hints when Kratos is contemplating the game’s many puzzles.

God of War Ragnarok update 6.00 has gone live, and its patch notes bring some much-awaited good news for players. Yes, the game has been enhanced for the PS5 Pro, but more importantly, it fixes Ragnarok’s most annoying problem: puzzle hints.

Sony has confirmed via its Q2 results for fiscal year 2024 that it's now shipped 65.5 million PS5 consoles, with a total of 3.8 million systems sold within the quarter itself. The company sold 1.1 million fewer PS5 boxes this quarter compared to the same one for the previous fiscal year,

The PS5 Pro can boost the graphics and frame rates of PS5 games that have been enhanced for the console. However, the console can also give a modest visual boost to PS4 titles, as well.
