Liverpool had a quiet January transfer window, to say the least. The Reds opted not to make any new signings after the turn of the year, choosing to stick with almost the same squad that Arne Slot began the season with back in August.

Liverpool may not have been active in the transfer window, but Arne Slot was dealt a hammer blow the day after it closed. The club resisted the temptation to bring reinforcements in to bolster their squad depth, despite the prospect of a frenzied schedule as they fight for silverware on four fronts.
