The Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow film has officially started production, and James Gunn has posted a picture from the set to prove it!

Before Kara Zor-El soars into theaters in 2026, James Gunn shared the first image of Milly Alcock in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

The DC Universe has officially welcomed the last daughter of Krypton. To commemorate the start of production on “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,” star Milly Alcock and DC Studios co-chief James Gunn have shared the first image from the set of the film.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is getting up, up and away. Filming has begun on the next DC Studios film following summer’s Superman, which officially launches the DC Universe from James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Both Gunn and Alcock shared the same picture of the latter parked in one of those director chairs that can be found on movie and TV sets to commemorate the start of principal photography at Warner Bros.
