A cause of death for Jeff Sperbeck— veteran agent of NFL Hall of Famer John Elway— who died last month following a golf cart accident, has been released.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Bureau confirmed John Elway's agent Jeff Sperbeck's cause of death on Friday, May 9 following the April 26 golf cart accident in La Quinta, Calif.

According to the Riverside (Calif.) County Coroner's Bureau, Sperbeck, 62, died of "accidental blunt head trauma" after falling off a golf cart driven by Elway on the night of April 26. The two were part of a group returning from a function at the Madison Club in La Quinta, according to a report from 9News.
