A law enforcement official says the person believed responsible for an explosion at a California fertility clinic posted online ramblings including a belief that the world should not be populated.

The California blast killed one, police said, and damaged buildings for blocks. A doctor said all reproductive materials at American Reproductive Centers are safe.

At least one person is dead and four others injured in a Palm Springs, California, explosion outside a fertility clinic, according to the FBI’s assistant director in charge of Los Angeles’ field office.
