Microsoft’s Windows 11 24H2 update is rolling out automatically to eligible PCs, promising improved performance and new features. Some bugs persist and ‘Pause’ option gives you the chance to delay.

Computers running the Home and Pro flavors of Windows 11 23H2 and 22H2 will gradually be updated, whether you like it or not.

If you’ve been trying to somehow avoid the Windows 11 2024 Update, those days are over. Microsoft is now saying that mandatory Windows 11 24H2 updates have begun and the installation is lengthier than prior updates,

Microsoft wants to force the update of older Windows 11 version to the 24H2 version, even though there are still many bugs with it.

Microsoft has released new dynamic updates for Windows 11. KB5050119 and KB5050200 bring improvements to the Windows recovery environment WinRE. Details are scarce, but Microsoft recommends that users use the update as soon as possible.

Microsoft officially recognized the issues with Ubisoft games on 24H2 in November 2024. Back then, only two games, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars Outlaws, were fixed via a Ubisoft patch. But the Assassins Creed Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins continued to encounter abrupt crashes and freezes, and even BSOD errors.

Ready or not, here I come Microsoft has begun distributing Windows 11 24H2 to user devices as the company enters the next stage of the operating system's rollout.… Enterprises need not worry at this stage – devices managed by IT departments won't be updated.
