An already enormous lead in the NTT IndyCar Series points standings just got bigger. Alex Palou’s dominant start to 2025 continued with his fourth win of the year coming at the Sonsio Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s road course on Saturday.

For a brief spell, it looked like Alex Palou might actually be beatable on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. The pole-sitter lost the lead just after the green flag flew and spent most of the race running in the tire tracks of Graham Rahal.

This was Palou's fourth win in five races for a driver's best start to a season since AJ Foyt in 1964. That season, Foyt won 10 of 13 races with an average finish of 5.8 through the first five races, Palou now has an average finish of 1.2, and leads by 97 points.
