I'm planning to visit Bali in February end and was planning to visit Bromo. I'm traveling with my wife and our 7-month old infant. Is it safe for her? With the 7-mth old infant, my view is "pl don't do it". Reason 1: you have to walk through (or by Motor bike or by riding on pony) the Sand Desert which is very very dusty. The dirt and dust are no good for the infant. Reason 2: the ascending path to the crater of Mt Bromo is narrow and uneven and steep. Safety is an issue. Hope thus helps.
